Jean Andrews has been in the field for 30 years. As a freelancer for 20 years, Jean has extensive copyediting/proofreading (online and print) experience on student textbooks and teacher’s editions for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt: grades K–12 language arts/reading, science, math, and social studies programs and related test and instructional materials, reviewed other copyeditors’ work, occasional writing and substantive editing, additional extensive writing/editing experience for daily newspaper, weekly/monthly industry magazines/newsletters, university publications for both general and specialized audiences, corporate and organizational marketing/advertising/public relations materials. He holds a B.A. in English/Art/Publications, B.S. in Natural Resource Studies/Zoology, M.A. in Library and Information Science. Can read basic Spanish.
