About
We are currently promoting our Twenty Sixth Annual Write a Story for Children Competition that is open to all amateur writers over the age of 18. There are cash prizes of £2,000 (US $3,400) for the best story submitted, £300 for second prize and £200 for the third placed story. Independent judges, who will be looking for such qualities as originality, imagination and flair, will read the entries. Most importantly, they will also consider how the story will appeal to children. To enter all you have to do is send your story with the entry form and fee attached to: ACW, Competition Entry.
Judged By: independent judges
Costs: £3 entry fee (10 x 2nd class UK stamps preferred). Non U.K entries should be accompanied by an official entry form and a US $10 bill or ε10 note. Non U.K Cheques/Checks are not accepted. They must also bear the entrant's full name and address. Entries cannot be returned so please keep a copy of your manuscript. E-mail entries are not accepted.
