"Hundreds of artists and publishers converge for the largest gathering of alternative and self-published comics in the country." Includes panels on graphic novels, web comics, how to pitch your comic to publishers, and the traditional APE 'queer cartoonists' panel. Site: Large conference or expo center in host city. 2011 special guests were Kate Beaton, Daniel Clowes, Craig Thompson, Adrian Tomine, and Shannon Wheeler.
